Elder Lao

I can't seem to kill the Elder Lao Shan Lung. Can Someone Give me some help on this please and thank you.

all u need is to have a good weapon like the rathalos fire sword, lots of bombs, good armor that gives u attack up/large, and to use the dragonator at the right time, also when he is on his hind legs make sure he stops walking and the hit his right foot. lastly hit his under head as he walks towards the dragonator so he gets weaker faster.

to kill this wyvern you need a fire attribute based weapon such as ratalos g sword or a upgraded crimson blade now take 3 lg barrel bomb 10 sm barrel bomb take 3 lg barrel 10 gun powder 5 monster fluid 10 sm barrel and take combo book 1 2 3 for extra succes rate and take mega demon drug and mega armourskin 5 of each and just keep hacking at his legs with ur sword
if the G sword press triangle then triangle and circle together the circle then trianlge and circle together and keep doing that so circle traingle , circle , circle triangle like that and take the mega deomon drug and armour skin lay down barrles and just destroy that giant wyvern good luck

I never done this quest. But Iam pretty sure you also need atleast 10mega potions, 10potions. As well as whetstones(20), and you don't need 5 of each(armoskin, demondrug). You only get 3 "Tries" So its more of like 3armors, and 3demon drugs. You may as well bring 5mega nutrients. It'll help a lot. Try to avoid blocking if using a great sword. It pretty much uses up a ton of its sharpness.
