Hi all, sorry I'm not very good with names but I'm sure you know what I mean. Im struggling to find some of my marks. How do I find the big turtle thing in the wet giza plains, iv cut the trees down and have opened up the area but I never seem to find the mark. The next mark is the chocobo in the snowy area near the siltshrine area. The last one is the tavernmasters mark the snake thing in zertinan caverns????????

Alright I will help you.

For the Turtle, just exit/Re-enter the big area you unlocked. It will eventually be in there. The Guy that is helping you with the mark will let you know if it is there when you walk in.

For the Chocobo, Same thing applies. You can find it in one of the big areas. You must exit/re-enter untill it appears. The guy that is helping you with the mark will let you know it is there when you walk in.

For the snake, you will need to do the same thing again, It is located near the main the entrance area located around the northeastern/Eastern section of the map. This time there isnt anyone to tell you it is there, but it will appear near some rocks.

All of these hunts are random appears. So that is why you may not have seen them one your first couple walkthroughs.

To find the Gil Snapper(turtle) you have to go in and out of the area until it rains hard (its easiest to check by looking for lightning in the sky). Youll be able to get to the Trickster(chocobo) when Monid first meets you and says it's there so it is easiest to kill it the first time you see it(have. To find the Marlith(snake) you go in the first area that you are able to access in the Westersand and just wait for a few minutes then walk to the bottom right corner of that room (I think the room's name has to deal with Hersheys or something spelled like it).

The Gil Snapper will only be found when it is very rainy. Keep moving in and out of the area until Bansat tells you the mark has shown up. The Trickster will only shut up when it's really snowwy, so kep moving in and out of the area until it's snowwy and thr Bangaa will tell you if he showed up. And the snake, you must stay in the area for five minutes then go find it.
