How can you tell which trophies you have already given? I can't figure out why I haven't won. My clan primer says I have defeated all 30 but huntmaster says I have only turned in 29 trophies. I have even checked and rechecked list in game guide

Follow that link, and look in a walk through till you find the rare games list. You need to go out, and kill only the ones that give out trophies when they die, but not all of them do that. As for the 30 trophies thing, I know that you won't get a prize if you have only turned in 30. Try 45, and then talk to him again.
You don't win anything for giving all 30 trophies. There are 80 rare game in total so you might be getting mixed up with one of the regular rare game that doesn't drop a trophy. Find a list of the 30 rare game that do drop trophies in a walkthrough there is a link above and check your bestiary to see if you have them all.
