Question for Final Fantasy XII

How in the world do you beat Yiazmat? My weakest charactor is a level 77. I used Decoy, shell, protect, and every item + magic I could pull out of my rear. I got 4 of the 6 strongest weapons. After an hour and a half, I had maybe if I'm lucky him down to 75% life. Is this guy unbeatable, or what. 50 million HP

My father beat Yiazmat around level 90. He didn't use decoy though. He used shell, protect, haste, and maybe something else I dunno. But he pretty much went all out attack. It took him a couple hours... You do know you're allowed to leave the stadium and go save right?

I beat him. It took about two, maybe three WEEKS. So it will take a while. I had three at level 87+ and the other three at like level 50. You will have to take some time to set your gambits. Have Ally:Any = Bubble, Ally:Any = Remedy, Ally:70%= Curaja for all of them in the first spots. For the one that has the highest Att.Pwr have Self = Bravery, Ally:Bravery = Beserk after the ones I mentioned before. For your two supporting characters have Ally:KO = Arise. Set three of four to one support charcter and set the other three to the other character, Enemy:Any = Dispel, Ally:Beserk = Decoy, Ally:Decoy = Reverse, Ally:Any = Hastega, Ally:Any = Protectga, Ally:Any = Shellga, and Ally:Any Float. What you do is give your main attacker Genji Gloves, or a Cat-Ear Hood. And give them a Ninja Sword not a Katana. Give one of your supporting characters(the one that you expect to use more magick) a Sage Ring. And give your other supporting charater whatever accessory you want. Be sure to have two Ruby Rings, one Mirror Mail, three Windbreakers, and three Bubble Belts.

Do not be the melee character, choose a supporting character so you can do something when needed. Have one of your support characters use two or three Exposes on Yiazmat. Make sure your melee character stays healthy while you watch the yours and the other supporting character. Look in the upper left corner occassionally to see the Yiazmat is about to use Cyclone. If it says it is preparing quickly go to the triangle button. Then change active your characters armor to Windbrakers. Then switch their armor back to what they had. Keep doing this and soon Yiazmats health should be about the middle. Be sure to save after taking about every 7 or 10 health bars. When he gets past the middle, he should start to use Death Strike which will do nothing or KO one of your characters but it should hit most of the time so be sure to have Pheonix Down or use Arise. When it's health gets past about 1/4 or about 15 bars left he will start to double his level which gives him more power so give every one Bubble Belts. He will also use Cyclone more, so look out, and he will use Reflectga on you every time you enter so switch your supporting characters Buble Belts to Ruby Rings and your melee fighters armor with Mirror Mail.

*WARNING* BE SURE NONE OF YOUR CHARACTERS USE RENEW WHILST REFLECT IS INFLICTED.
IT WILL COMPLETELY HEAL YIAZMAT!

Then after he casts Reflectga replace you reflect armor/accessories with their old ones. He will also use Death Strike more often so watch out for that. Also take note you should save more often so you wont lose that much hard work and the time you put in. Keep using these methods and you should be able to beat him. When he gets to about two or three bars to save some time, summon Zodiark if you have him. The last move I used onYiazmat was Zodiark's Final Eclipse. But remember, you have to have Stone inflited on you to activate it though.

I hope I helped. Good luck.

I have him down to his last 2 million health and my best character is only lvl 72 my weakest is lvl 20 so really what you nned to do is set gambits to heal and revive and always go with lots of items that do the same thing only reason I don't have him dead yet is because now when I showup in the stadium he uses cyclone.

Guest answered:

I hit him until 2 health bar but after that he become stronger and i have no chance to attack
