I have beaten the demon wall that you have to fight but now I'm trying to beat the optional demon wall and I keep dying. Is there an easier way to beat him?

Yes, there is a much easier way to defeat the optional demon wall. Train all your characters up in the Nam-Yensa Sandsea, until you have three characters level 20 or above. Make sure you have at least 2 quickening with each of these people. When you're ready, go back in and fight the demon wall. Hack away at it's health until about half, Then use a massive quickening chain. It shouldn't have to be too big, maybe a 6 or 7 combo, including the concurrence. Make sure you have lots of items to revive fallen party members and take away status effects as soon as possible. Good luck!

HINT: When you defeat it, press the button that was behind it, and take the now available 2 side paths beside you. It doesn't matter which one you take, they end up at the same place. When your journey ends, you should find a chest with a Demonsbane sword inside. If not, go back and exit that room, then come back in and try again.

If you have quickenigs and ethers he is pretty easy. Make sure you get a good chain of 7 or 8 hits.

You can run away from the first, but the second is not optional, however, you do have a longer passage. Try to get characters over level 20 and it should be easy as. Just get echo herbs and the magic blindna so you don't go blind and miss every shot. If you still have trouble try to get a sweet long chain and it'll be dead quick time.
