Is there any easy way to do the part where the battery mimics keep taking all the enrgy I keep dying?

Yes, there is a very easy way. Kill them all. Then make your way to a switch deep in the passage to open a gate. Go to the save point beyond the now opened gate, and Basch recieves a weapon. From there you move on to fight the Mimic Queen. The second (third technically if you count the air cutter remora) boss in the game. The best strategy for this boss is to concentrate all attacks on the mimic queen, and not bother killing the Battery Mimics. However, if your charge is reduced to 0, the battery mimics will begin to attack you. So kill them to gain more energy. The mimic queen will make more, but she'll probably be near dead by this point.

Use Blizzard with one character and have your other fighters attack it. Also, if you need MP try running in a circle and use Cure more often then Potions.

Not really just kill them fast and keep looking for the mimicks. Dont go searching around for stuff until you beat them all or alot of them.
