First and foremost, use your characters with the highest levels. Make sure you have Protect and HAste on your characters. Cast Dispel on the boss to remove it's benefical status effects. This boss is weak to Ice, so if you can, have one character use Blizzaga, Berserk another character, perferably your strongest. Then finally use your final character to heal. The boss may occassionally cast Sap on you, so get rid of it quickly with either, Esuna, Remedys, or Regen.

Hi there,

I think your Vaan, Balthier, and Basch levels are ok... But the girls, man... You definitely HAVE TO level them up more to beat this tyrant, at least all of your team (not only active team but the reverse too) are up to 40 something. Switch characters only when they are at K.O status (saving your MP only for dispel and quickenings) and after that, try to get them back to life using phoenix down (use X command and L2 to open menu for non active character). Also, try to use potion, high potion or X potion for healing instead of cure, cura, curaja because magicks only waste your time (you can die before even casting any magick). The same thing goes to whenever you got bad status effect. Try to use items to cure it instead of using magick.

Dispel the Tyrant as soon as it puts beneficial status on him! Put berserk on your most powerful character, try to equipt him/her with katana to get more combo. And... I suggest that try to equipt all of your character with bubble belt to automatically double your HP (very important). Concentrate two of you characters gambit for healing and suporting but never put their gambit exactly the same!
Example :
Character 1 (the most powerful) - berserk (and you can't command him so, forget about his gambit).
Character 2, first gambit ally-any, phoenix down, etc...
Character 3, first gambit ally-HP>60%, X potion, etc...

Hope I helped!
