is it really gonna take me 8 hours plus to defeat yiazmat??

Even though I am not strong enough to actually face him yet (my characters are all in the mid-70's area) I have heard from multiple people that it is going to take me around 8 hours to defeat yiazmat. Is this true?? I realize that he has a massive amount of hp and that it will take some time to defeat him but if it is less than 8 hours please let me know!! Thanks for any and all answers that I get for this question.

like the others said HI LVL unless u are VERY good with using arise and other white magics for healing very fast i got by with having Vaan Fran and Basch at lvl 74 V 72 F

srry if that wasnt very clear....it cut off my answer for some reason anyways V= Vaan F= Fran B= Basch

74 for V 72 for F and B with all of them having every magick and technique as for equipment

Vaan: Ragnarok, Dragon mail, bubble belt (forgot the helms name but everybody has same armor and accsesory for yiazmat fight)
Fran: Saggitarius with Assassins Arrows, White Mask
Basch: Golden axe??? (had 110 strength), Ensanguined shield, Golden Skullcap

then i had the gambits set up
Vaan Fran and Basch: attack nearest enemy, ally status KO Arise Ally <10% HP Renew

thats my basic set up and you'll definitly need some manual input and the others were all lvl 67-70 so when i used them due to the others dying id have to select Arise in white magic then hit R1 to go to Reserve Members and have them bring Vaan Fran and Basch back it took me a few days because i only fought in sections but heres a secret i found out that if you leave Yiazmats area when you return hell still have the same amount of health as when you left so if your guys run out of MP you can run to crystal use it then return
