On my first playthrough yeah of course I got all of the bridges to get to the final boss but the bridge to the holy rod does not appear or do I still need to defeat brainpans or you said that you need to read something where is it if you're right or a faq

You need to defeat deidars, not brainpans. I just found that out. They're the red ones.
