Monsters keep gathering around and building up on you I can't get out it's so hard what level should you be and any way to get rid of them

Basically, I suggest at LEAST 70. Anything lower is instant death. I went in at level 80 and did well. And no, there is no way to get rid of the swarming monsters, I tried. I stayed there for like an hour, constantly battling (though that is a good way to get exp without moving).
