I would try getting your characters up to level 70 and then try to beat him and if that doesn't work I would try to get to level 75 or higher. Remember your quickenings, they could save you. Start off with a mist chain as long as you can make it, then change your party to the remaining three characters and do the same, then change back to the party that you began with(for they are most likely the strongest) and start attacking him with your weapons. Before you fight him it would be a good idea to caste protective spells on your characters. I would put protect, haste, bubble,regen, and shell. Now assuming that you have the right augments, you should gain MP every time you deal or take damage, whenever you deal magick damage and whenever you defeat an enemy, so after you put all of your protestives on your characters,use your weapons a couple of times to regain MP then hit him with your quickenings. Also, it is a good idea to have an ally with a piercing weapon, so I would suggest that you give either Balthier or Fran a bow or a crossbow.These are both good piercing weapons and are both stronger than guns. Another tip is to equip good armor to your characters, I would suggest heavy armor since it gives you more strength.
