Date of Question: Jun 21 2009 | Question ID: 143312

I am currently fighting the Trickster and I faught him a couple times and lost but I almost beet him. But when I went to go fight him the third time he wasn't there, now I know he can turn himself invisibe but that's not it because even when he is invisible you can still see him, but in this case he fust isn't there. I was also wandering what level I should be at to fight him.I am using Vaan level = 44
Balthier level = 43
Basch level = 44
The other characters I never really use exept for quickenings, there levels are
Fran level = 15
Ashe level = 16 or 17
And Penelo level = 15

Also I have the magick Vanish that gives your character the status affect invisible, but for some reason the creatures can still see me and attack. Why can they see me if I am invisible please help.

Thanks to all that answer.

The Trickster doesn't always appear in the area every time you visit. Monid, who accompanys you on the hunt will alert you when the Trickster is in the area. I would try levelling all characters just a but more as a good reserve party can be vital later on in the game. Depending on what armour and weapons you are using, equipment could need replacing. I tend not to use Vanish that much so I'm not entirely sure why the monsters still see you.

I suggest having all people in the pary from level 55-60 if not higher. I don't use Vanish that often either. Perhaps why they can see you is the same reason you can see Trickster when he is "invisible". But if Monid says Trickster is there, then he is. I suggest not using magick as he only has one weakness, which he changes every time you happen to use his weakness. When he starts to get low on HP, he'll run. That's when you bring out your ranged people. Keep hitting him till he's dead.

Hope I helped,
