How do you find the merchant in nabudis?

I have been searching for days trying to find the merchant in nabudis to get the better spells and techinques, someone please help

Go into the Nerohol of Nabudis from the Salikawood entrance. The merchant is at the very top of this map section. Go up the longer of the matching walkways and into the room at the end. There is another room off of this one(it's not on the map). He is in one of the corners of this room. The attention sign over your head will have ??? In it. Hope this helps!!!
