I've look every where in the pheros and can not find the ribbon is there any other way to get it??? And when can I get it???

First of make SURE you don't equip the Diamond Armlet. Also the chest does NOT spawn again meaning you get only one ribbon. Take the lift all the way down to the Abyssal (third floor) of the Subterra. Once you reach the Abbysal get off the lift and go and enter the first door on the right of the lift from which you came. Open the door on the right side of the room you enter. The chest will be on the left or west wall of the room but it will only appear one time in other words once you get the Ribbon the chest will not spawn or reapear again. Also the chest may not even spawn. It may take a good ten or so trys to make it spawn

I made the same mistake in thinking that I only had to go up through the ascents. But once you have completed Pharos completely. You can re enter right from where you started from and use that lift to go DOWN. This takes you to the subterra. There a chests there you can get it from.
You can also get it from a chest in the Cerobi steppe. If you enter from the uplands. Its the second screen. Have a look at www.ffxiimaps.com they have all the maps with all the chests. Its really well done. It will help you big time.
