Zodiact

So simple how do you beat this esper?

<BR>I use the wine stuff for beserk and got black musk and even a shiled for 2 people which absorbs dark magic but it's darkja annoys me

Have the black masks equipped when Zodiark is about to absorb the damage like you mentioned and have shell on all your characters to reduce the chance of being ko'd by Darkja by 50%, you should also have haste and bravery on all your characters. It's best not to use dispel on Zodiark because this causes him to use magical barrier and makes him immune to magic. It's weak against holy so the excalibur with be very useful and have the other characters with greatswords or katanas to do a lot of damage. Near the end of the battle Zodiark will have a paling to make him immune to physical attacks and makes it immune to most elemental magicks so it's best to use scathe and flare at this point.

Well, before you begin your quest to battle the Esper Zodiark, I would like to take this time to strongly advise you that you need to have each character above level Seventy. You might still be able to take him down above level Seventy, but all of my characters were on level Ninety-Nine and I still had trouble fighting him. Zodiark is an Esper who gets his power from Darkness, so, you should use holy power on him. You could use the spell Holy, or you could use Excalibur, which is a holy Greatsword. As for his Darkja, you can see when he is going to use it. While Zodiark is getting prepared to cast his Darkja spell, you should get one of your characters ready to cast Curaja. This way, you will heal whatever remaining characters you have immediately after he casts the spell. Hope this helps.
