I know that telekenesis does damage to flying( or any)monsters, but does it do the same amount of damage that it would if you were attacking something on the ground?

Yes it would actually do the same damage calculation...and It says so too on the Game description...

If you use telekenesis to attack flying enemies the damage can be random sometimes it will do the same amount of damage that you would do when attacking an enemy on the ground but other times it can do less damage.

Actually, the answer is no. If you use the technique Telekinesis on an enemy it can either do the same exact amount of damage that a physical attack would do to a ground enemy, or, it could do less. It is un predictable, so you will never know how much damage Telekinesis will do to an enemy. When you think about it, it should do a lot more damage than a psychical attack since you are using your mind to attack the enemy. But whatever, it can do good damage.
