Date of Question: May 6 2008 | Question ID: 117329 When you go to the walkthroughs, the necrohal of nabudis is not in the main storyline, neither is the nebreas deadlands, is there a point of these places besides getting an esper, zodiak spear, and killing the roblon???

Yes I suppose...There are rare games that you can find here and so as many rare Loots from monster around these parts...
Examples of what I'm saying are:
1) You can also find the Baknamy Merchant here in the Necrol of Nabudis where you can buy some ethers,the Technik Telekinesis and the black Magick Scathe....
2) You will find the construction monsters Babil just Like the Romblon and as well as the hunts "Creature Collector" for the Mark Goliath and "dEAD city Watch" for the Mark Deathscythe...
3) The rare game Vorres and Helvinek are Found in the Necrol...
4) Oversouls are Monsters that drop the extremely rare Loot "Soul of Thamasa"...
5) In the Necrol you will find Baknamy,Elverot and the Dark Elemental...
6) the Pandora is also Found in the Necrol...It's just on the way to the Baknamy Merchant...It drops the Rare Loot "Wrath of the Gods"
7) Also in the Deadlands the Rare game Arioch appears Randomly...Valelu rare
Game also appears in the area to the Romblon...
8) You'll also need to go to the boat here in the Deadlands to get to the Matamune Fishing Rod...
9) The monsters Banshe(has a Big percentage of dropping Zombie Powder with warmages monograph),Crusader,Orange crystal bug(steal-Feytone),Emeralditan(Steal-turtleshell Choker Poach-Scarletite),Focalor(drop's Dorsal fin),Foobar(drop's minerva buster),Leynir(drop's wargod's band and destrier barding) and Leamonde Entite(drop's and steal Feystone and Leomonde Halycon)
10) MOstly!!!YOU can do extreme Leveling in Both the Necrol and the Deadlands...
You know, all those Items and Loots are Rare and those loots are Requirements for rare Bazaar goods too...

Lol, are you asking if there is any part to two major areas of the game? Well, my answer, is yes. You see, the Necrohol of Nabudis, and the Nabreus Deadlands are there for more than how. Not only do they help fill in the gaps in the storyline, but they also help fill up the game as well. On more than several occasions, you will have to travel to either the Nabreus Deadlands, or the Necrohol of Nabudis so that you can take care of a mark, or a hunt. You also have to go there on several other occasions to take down rare game, and collect special pieces of loot that are not found anywhere except in one of those two areas. Also, it is just fun to go there and explore the areas.

The main point of these places is extra gameplay. The main sidequests you do there are the ones you mentioned but they are also good places to train. It's worth doing all the sidequests for the rewards and again it adds more to the game. Finding them is pretty much a sidequest too. There are also optional bosses there aswell.
