Important question on henne mines...

In all the walkthroughs, faqs, etc, It say you can get the zodiak spear with a 10% chance of getting it, it also says you get it in the phase 2 dig. What the heck!! There is no phase 2 dig! If there is, please tell me how to get to it, if there isn't, please tell me where in the henn mines the zodiak spear could be??

ANSWERS

The phase 2 dig is in the secret area of the Henne Mines, to get there you have to go to area where you fight Tiamat there is a gate there to access the secret area of the Henne Mines, the gate can only be opened by obtaining 10 espers and then talking to Yugelu the geomancer in Jahara once you talk to him the gate will automatically be opened. The zodiac spear is in the phase 2 dig area but your chances of getting it are a lot less that 10%, you will need to have thew diamond armlet. The enemies in the secret area are on a really high level and are really strong so you should be above level 70 at least before you go there and have good equipment.

If you read the walkthroughs it also says you can get it in the Necrohols of nabudis which is the north west of salika wood. You have to avoid opening some many chests to gain it. This is the quicker and easier way to get it. As Gamespro advised it is very difficult to obtain the Zodiac Spear in the Hennes Mines. So get reading those guides again..most rate this way as a sidequest.
