loot

Does loot play a part in the game besides for selling because I have been keeping at least one of everything I get and I just want to know if this is worth it since I am at a point in the game where I could use the extra gil

You should sell absolutely everything except teleport stones. The more you sell, the more bazaar goods the vendors get. Some of these goods are extremely powerful weapons.

Loot has to main fuctions in FFXII, you sell the loot in order to get gil and you also sell loot to unlock items and weapons in the bazaar so loot is very important. If you need more gil then collect loot from enemies that drop loot that sells for a high amoount of gil, the Golmore Jungle is always good for that.

The loot is not important for you, you can't use all the loots eccept the TELEPORT Stone's. So just sell it.

Loot does play a vital role in the game besides selling it in order to get money. You can actually sell the loot, or treasure so that you can unlock even more treasure. Some pieces that the enemies drop are utter crap, while others like the Corpse fly loot, are really important things that you need so that you can get stronger weapons or items from the bazaar. I would suggest that you keep at least Three of everything that the enemies drop because in some cases, you need to sell certain pieces of loot at the same time. If you sell everything, then you might miss out on the opportunity to get a rare piece of equipment. Teleport stones, Gyashal Greens, and Pinewood/sandal wood chops should not be sold because these are actually useful outside of selling them. Teleport Stones send you from one gate crystal to the next. Gyashal Greens tame wild Chcobos so that you can ride them, and having a Sandalwood chop is the only way that the important people will look at you in Archadia. Hope this helps.

The oly pieces of loot worth keping are Gyashal Greens and teleport stones.the rest you should sell so you can get more bazaar goods
