Defeating an Elite Mark

Ok, I have taken up a hunt from the Clan called the Cockatrice. He is an elite mark and quite difficult to kill since he has 4 or 3 guards with him. Any suggestion? I am slowly progressing the game.

If your finding it difficult to beat then you should lvl up a little more at this point in the game the Westersand is a good place. The Cluckatrice can be inflicted with a number of differant statuses. So cast Disable on it straight away and this also works on the Chickatrice's, then cast Blind on the Cluckatrice. Now the battle will be much easier. If you want to completely beat the Cluckatrice you have to beat all the Chickatrice's with it.

I remember that ugly thing, he was easy for me though. What I did was when I saw the baby, I attacked it, and killed it, and all the other baby cockatrices. After I had done that, then I focused on killing the Mother Cockatrice. The baby one are weak, but they may hurt you a little, so try to heal as quickly as possible. If you have any buff spells such as Protect/haste/hell then cast them on all your characters, and then attack the mother Cockatrice.

Just use two of your characters to attack, and use one for healing. Eventually you should beat it, hope this helped.

The chickatrice's are about 5000 health (don't hold me to it) and the cluckatrice's health was about 10,000 20,000 (probably overguessing) when at level 15 it is as easy as eating a peice of cake to defeat them as I kinda left them for quiet some time.. Hoped that helped

Use quckening combos when their around but lower the adult cockatrices health first
