I took your advice and went after Adrammelech..yeah I beat it, thanx! I,ve been doing some hunts and now I,m stuck again..sorry but if you can, will you help me? I,m after the trickster..i,m in the right area(frozen brook)i,ve killed everything here, so where is it? Bet there,s something I,ve got to do first eh? Thats the only thing with this game..love it but I forget what needs to be done so you can access something else half the time...thanx 4 any help you can give me

The Trickster won't always appear when you enter the area you'll know when it does because the bangaa that helps you will tell you that it is there. It is also slightly invisible but when you get close to him he will appear completely. A tip for the end of the fight the Trickster puts up a barrier protecting it from physical damage so use magic. The best magic to use when he does that is Drain because you'll be healing yourself while damaging Trickster.

Zone in and out until he shows up. He is invicible so he might be hard to see.
Use Bio on him!

Your welcome, Glad to hear that you beat him. It's alright, I'll try to help you, but my memory isn't that great now. The big, giant Chocobo will appear when your partner from the clan says it is there. What you do then, is cast all your buffs, protect/haste, etc, and go walk around. The trickster will be nearly invisible, so look closely for it. You will probably find it by accident, by running into it, so just run around all over the area. The trickster is strong physically, so make sure that you have protect on your party. At the beginning of the battle, the Trickster will probably hit one of your people(might be a one hit kill.) and then run off, don't chase after it, revive/heal him, then cast all the buffs. Then you may go after the trickster.

Now I'll admit strategies aren't my strong point, so I'll just tell you what I did to beat the overgrown Bird. All I mainly did was cast my buff spells, and keep all my people healed, while attacking him. Maybe get two people to attack, and one person to cast the buffs/heal, and attack when there is an opening. That's basically all I did until the trickster was at critical health( he was blinking red) then I used my quickening on him, and he was no more.

I don't remember having to accomplish anything before fighting him, so maybe he just doesn't show up sometimes. But when he is there, the bangaa will tell you, because he will be at the area where the trickster will be. Hope this helps...

The trickster appears when Monid tells you it's there. It may be hard to see but it's there. It runs around for most the battle anyway it really shouldn't be a problem.
