I Bought the game and lost the case and manual

Can someone plz tell me what I am supposed to do? I bought the game a few years ago and I think I accidentally threw the case away! I no longer have it installed on my computer and I do not know the code. Am I supposed to go out and buy the entire thing all over again just to play it?
