It depends on what level you are, Gorgok in Willowshire if you have your dragon fully trained, plus he has some cool items he will give you. The tower quest in Willowshire, keep the weapons and sell them. The moonglow quest in Amityvale, check with the weapons shop for that quest. Finally, if you are still in Oaklore, just keep battling Sneevils (keeping and selling the weapons) until you have the gold you need. As an afterthought, the Well quest in Amityvale also gives good weapons(worth alot)......you don't get much for the quest, but the weapons are usually worth quite a bit. (to get to this, got to amityvale, run to the right, pass artix, when you come to the split in the road, go to the right. You should come up to artix's dog if you are in the right place.)
