best element ?

I honestly don't think there is a best element.I think you should just use whatever element your enemy is weakest against.for your dragon,choose whatever element you like the best.I chose fire and it's good so far.If you don't like your dragons element you can always change it anytime,and I have,a lot.

Same thing except for dragon I choose light. Light, fire or elece weapons usually work the best.

Personally, I like ice, because it's pretty cool,but if you want a good element I would recommend Darkness because a lot of monsters are weak aginst that. Also your baby dragon is destined to DESTROY the world not save it(even though you want it to save the world.)

I'd prefer energy or ice since many enemies are weak against them.

TRUE FACT!: I am a dragonlord, and i have used all the elements. fire, water, ice, energy, light, darkness, wind, bacon, and silver. And out of all of them, SILVER, is the ultimate one.

Silver and bacon are PRIMAL elements, normal players can't use them

There is no simple answer to this. Opponents can have various reactions to elements:
1. Weakness
2. Normal
3. Resistance
4. Immunity
5. Healing

The last three make a battle harder and the last two could make it unwinnable. Normally I carry weapons with three or four different elements and change depending on the type of opponent in an area. That being said I have yet to see any opponent that is immune or healed by silver. Such weapons are rare for non-the users but they can be found occasionally.
