To train your dragon, feeding the baby, and training those stats, are only part of the training. You also need to train the "full grown" version of your dragon by seeing Lady Celestia. You must have a DA & be lvl 10+ to do the other "half" of training on your dragon. If you meet these requirements, doing further training with your dragon is like training any armor. From Lady Celestia's main menu, choose "Dragon Quests", then "Summon", then "Dragon Training" (level 10+ DA only) I do know, from personal experience, that I couldn't fully train my dragon to fight until somewhere around level 24. Don't get discouraged. Keep trying. As with any armor, you can only level up "to your current level". Happy gaming & Good luck!

Awww! I am not DA :(

The person above is wrong, he is thinking of dragon rider which is only for the users. In my experience I have learned that the more points you put on the skill the more likely he is to do that skill, until he reaches the threshold where he learns a new skill. If your dragon is not using any skills I recommend putting more training on the subject, or just keep trying because you may be just really unlucky.

Once again ignore the guy up there, he is wrong, but if you have a the you should train Dragon Rider because when using primal abilities after some long hard training he can be used for very effective farming for gold and money.

I agree, i would also add that you can't see the dragons moves but you get the choice to skip your current dragon's turn when you upgrade it at lady celestias place (i think you have to be DA) D.H

Did you click "save"? Because that's what I forgot to do for a while until I figured it out.
