To destroy those annoying tox boxes in shifting sand land just switch or turn into wario then wait for one of the tox boxes to come toward you and right when you get to the part that is hollow just punch or kick in any direction to send the tox box flying into the air and you're pathway will b cleared.

Instead of ground pounding the wooden posts that you c in various levels just run around them 3 times and they will give you five coins this method is much faster then the other.

Hold R and move yoshi down the stairs to make him crawl.

If you are going to a level what has pretty much water in it (for example, jolly roger bay or dire dire docks) use Luigi. Luigi is very fast swimmer and can swim back to surface without any trouble. But if you're using someone else, and you're low on power (swimming underwater depletes your power meter slowly) try to get some coins or press start and choose to exit course. Coins will increase your power meter quickly, and you can rise to surface.

Here are some neat tricks to avoid that annoying fall damage.

1. If you are Yoshi, use the flutter kick by pressing B. If you do this at the right time, you should be well unharmed. Needs practice though.
2. If you are Luigi, try to scuttle by pressing B. If you do this at the right time, you should be well unharmed. Needs practice as flutter kick.
3. If you are Mario, try to slide aginst the wall but without wall jump.
4. Press A. You will either slide, or do a jump kick. Either of these will work. Doesn't work on Yoshi though.
5. Use the ground-pound at the right time.
6. Try to land into water if possible. The water will prevent fall damage.
7. Try to avoid enemies that will throw you away from a high place (such as those strange small bulldozers with footprints on their shovel things in wet-dry world and in battle fort, or the Big Bob-omb).

Go up to any sign of your choice,Jump on top,do a ground-pound,then get off to read the sign Mario will crouch to read the sign then get back on and do a ground-pound then the sign will be fully in the ground.

Have fun gaining lives!

1. Go to top of castle roof, collect 1-ups. Triplejump off roof. Repeat until dead. Rinse and repeat for as many lives as you like!
2. Go to Goomboss battle as Mario. Make Goomboss stop by running behind him, then jumpkick him. Get the Super Mushroom and destroy all the goombas. Lots of lives quickly!

The Mario

In world 1-1, jump on the 3rd Warp Pipe you see and press down. You'll go in it!! You'll be underground! Just go left and there's the star-coin!

Did you know that you can teleport in the game? You can. Even without a action replay.just stand on a teleport spot and you teleport. There are two teleports in each level.

Course 1. In the middle of a spot of flowers near a cannon, in the first hole where the balls drop.(use these to help beat koopa the slow)

Course 4. At the end of a bridge broken off of, near the fat mama penguin somewhere.

Course 12. On one of the mushrooms without a red coin on it

Make sure you get the 1st star. The next star should appear in a tree, climb the tree and sit there. Your opponent has no way to get passed you to get the star in the tree.

Whenever you loose your Cap/Hat, go back to where you lost them. They will be at the same place where you lost it!

You might already know this, but if you go in one world and collect 100 coins, a secret Power Star will appear! Nab the star, and then just complete the level and you will leave with two stars for the price of one! Or if you die, you will still have the 100 coin star, and then go back in for the other one!

In tiny/huge island you can ground pound giant goombas (huge island) and get blue coins. You don't even have to be Luigi. Great for 100 coin Stars. Hope this helps.

To do this mission go to the tiny island. Go to the tree and jump when you're at the top of it. Do a backflip and teleport to the huge island. Go to the farthest right log and ground-pound it. Get the giant mushroom and start knocking all those piranha flowers. They won't do any damage to you if you take the giant mushroom. This is an easier way instead of punching them.

If you want to save mario and play as him you will need 8 stars.If you already have 8 stars go to peaches rec room (which is in one of the number 1 doors). Then go into a door in the rec room that has a number 8 on it.When you do that and your inside the other room go into the painting that has mario on it.After you finish that fight your way to the x(which is shown on the map).When you get to the x jump into the hole in the middle of where you are at.Then you you will meet the mushroom boss.Defeat him.After you defeat him you will get a key .Then go out of the rec room and go to this bid door with a red m.Unlock the door with the key you just got.Mario will jump out of the open door.Now you can play as mario. This isnt really a hint (its a walkthrough to how to save mario)but I didnt know how to do all that walkthrough stuff.

When you are mario and have wings swoop down ,then up you wilget a super high fly.Do this a lot an you will be a fly expert.

Don't just throw the boss of the edge because it doesn't hurt them at all most the time.but if you will get hurt from falling off a cliff.also most bosses usally take 1-3 hits to kill them .

The easiest way to find glowing rabbits is to be yoshi. Glowing rabbits are the original rabbits that you find in the garden or anywhere else. Yoshi is the easiest because he has the most in the garden than anyone else.

On the Cool, Cool Mountains, use Yoshi to swallow the fire and release it with A, I think. You also destroy the ice block to release the red coin.

5: All that is in the room is...a door and luigi

In Super Mario Bros, make the one playing it wait just in front of the flagpole.

In SM64DS, go to Bob-omb Battlefield and select the mission:Footrace with Koopa

The Quick.Then win the race but make sure you use the teleports to have some

Big advance time on Koopa. Then, when you're at the end flag, turn OFF the volume of your DS and turn ON MERELY MAX volume on Super Mario Bros.

At THE EXACT SAME TIME, Jump on the Flagpole IN BOTH SM64DS AND SMB. Now, Enjoy the music while waiting for Koopa the Un-Quick.

Here is every single Bowser battle, and the easy ways to beat him:

1st Bowser: This one is simple, just wait until he breathes fire at you, run around him to grab his tail to spin him around and throw him into a spikey bomb. Afterwards, if you have full health, you can destroy the rest of the bombs.(Just for fun!)Grab the key to get out of the stage.

2nd Bowser: The first thing Bowser will do is jump up and tilt the stage. Run the other way, when the stage goes back to normal, do the same as you did with the first one.(But don't run into the bombs, you will fall under the stage, and burn until you die!) Grab the key to get out of the stage.

3rd Bowser: THis one is really hard the first time you take him on, you have to throw him into bombs three times! The first two times, do what you did with the first two, but he doesn't tilt the stage. If you throw him, and miss the bombs, when he comes back he will destroy part of the stage. After you trhow him into two bombs two times, the sides of the stage will be destroyed, leaving one star-shaped stage. Then, go to the tips and squat,(press the {R} button) wait for him to charge at you. When he does, backflip over him, and he will be at the edge, almost fallen off. Quickly grab his tail, and toss him into a bomb. Grab the giant star to get out of the stage. Be prepared for some long credits.

(NOTE: the star you get from the 3rd Bowser battle does not count as a real star, it just has princess Peach in it.)

To get to the ? Switch you need to look up at the light shining down on the piece of the floor that is shaped like the sun by pressing X on Standard controls.

As the title says, I have a new alternative to Luigi's so called 'super speedrun' instead of doing a triple jump up the stairs, just do a back flip inbetween the top of the stairs and the door to the second floor.

Go outside the castle with Yoshi(not the boo courtyard). Find the bunny that goes across the bridge. When the time is right, try to grab the bunny and go in the watter(this could take a while). You will here the music when you catch the bunny, but Yoshi won't spit him out. Next, go to the edge of the nearby sand hill and if you reach the slippery edge,(the edge the you slide down) Yoshi will start to spit the bunny out, but the bunny wont come out of Yoshi's mouth. Go on land then Yoshi will automatically start moving. Note: Once this happens you will have to reset the game because you have no control over Yoshi. (in game reset: L+R+Start+Select.)

On the second boss in the erea in the right corner is a massive block that will try to crush you it takes 3 hp away from you if you get hit when he try's to land on you move out the way and then ground pound on him do it three times and he's lost the battle

The way to destroy the first boss in the game which is a giant bomb here's what you have got to do when he throws his bombs use yoshi and open your tounge and eat the small bombs the fire them back out at him he only has 3 hp so that will only take 3 shots

*Shinning bunnies appear anytime during the game.

*Each character(Mario, Luigi, Wario & Yoshi)will capture two shinning bunnies because there are eight shinng bunnies and four characters, playing characters.(it makes sense right?)

If you are having trouble on "Footrace With Koopa the Quick", you must be trying to take the hard way. The [i]easy[/i] way is: run as fast as you can to the mountain that the big bob-bomb was on in the first mission, when you reach the first area where boulders come out, jump into it and stay still, you will teleport to the second (and last) one, putting you in the lead. Just run up the rest of the mountain, get to the flag, and you win!!!

To do a flip attack you dash towards an enemy and do a lunge attack but fall short by a small distance. Then quickly jump and you will flip forward and kick the enemy in the head. If you keep a good speed then you can do several flips in a row without stopping, defeating all the enemies in your path.

In just about every level of the game, there will be an owl in one of the trees. I have discovered rescently that the owl will always be in a tree with any type of coin above it. The owl will take you wherever you want to go.

Many people have been struggling get the last power star, well I found it! Get to the end of the Princess Secret Slide within 21 seconds and you will get a star.

Ok, this was my most secret hint of all time. AND NOW I"M GIVING IT AWAY!!!!!! Ok DJ's, this is what you got to do: Ok go up to a mine (Near the edge) and when Bowser starts to run at you do a backflip right over him and grab his tail. And twirl him around not to fast though, and throw him into a mine. Step 1 complete. Now, step 2. Do the same thing as step 1. Step 2, complete. STEP 3, THE FINAL STEP. Now when the arena turns into a star-shaped form....

Ok here's what you got to do:

1. Unlock Luigi. For those of you who already have unlocked Luigi skip this rule.

2. Go to the carpet in the main floor. (The carpet where you look into the sunshine)

3. Triple jump from the carpet, on the second jump you should be at the top of the starcase now do the the final jump. You should be near the roof.

4. When your up there don't stop! Keep running by holding the dash button. (Y).

There you go your speed running!

Ok this hint is so cool, ok now this what you got to do: Unlock Luigi if you already have then pick him now go to where that carpet is in the middle of the castle. Now you know how luigi jumps high? Well ok now jump, jump again and you should be at the top of the stairs now do the final jump and you should be way up near the roof running on wall. Hold the dash button so he'll be running like godzilla!!!!!!

When in the mirror room on the 2d floor get luigi and then youll see these invisible mushrooms or somthing.go through the mirror and jump in to a portrat of wario then go to the boss to fight him.

There is a really easy way to get this star.

Normally, you're meant to use the cannon to get to it, but that can be dangerous/suicidal. Instead, go in as Luigi, walk along from the start a bit, face away from the mushroom and do a backflip. Move towards the mushroom while in the air and you should reach it no bother.

VERY HELPFUL COINS HINT!
Anyone trying to get the 100-coin-stars should read this.
The task of getting the 100-coin-star in the "Tiny-Huge island" stage, can be quite befuddling, as several of you know. BUT, if you enter the stage as luigi, there is a trick you can do that can make it possible. Enter the stage through the "Big" picture as Luigi. When facing a Giant Goomba, instead of simply jumping on it, Backflip and twirl onto it. This will give you a blue(5) coin instead of a gold(1) coin. The whole stage has 9 of the Giant Goombas and doing this trick will get you 45 coins instead of just 9. The other thing you need to do to get the 100-coin-star, is enter the mountain from the side and get the red coins as well as the "Blue-coin-stomp-switch" coins. I hope this advice will lessen your headache in this level. ~Torgaz~

As Luigi go into the water by the waterfall and swim into the little square hole. If the camera is angled correctly, Luigi will have a red hat and shirt like Mario. This only happened to me once, so it may take a while
