I've bought some ghost objects but if I look for ghosts I get everytime the same one. Any hint?<BR>And then, what do carnivourus plants do? Thanks

ANSWERS

With the ghost hunting activity, you have to repeat it over and over and your sims will eventually level up and unlock new ghosts to be found. There are three new ghosts per level.

As ghost hunting is classed as a hobby, you can check which level your sims are currently at, and how near they are to progressing to the next level, via the hobbies tab. I'm not sure if the simoleon/LP value of the objects has any effect on which ghosts are found.

I've yet to discover the full workings of the carnivorous plants, but I expect they will munch my sims up for lunch, so I'm keeping well clear of the one currently residing in my flowerbed, lol.

You just need to practice you will level up and get more chances to get ghosts and reward, as they say "practice makes perfect"

The more halloween stuff you have in a house, the better your chance is to get different ghosts

With carnivorous plants, all I've had to do is click on them and press the negotiate option. It takes about an hour and a half to complete, but it gets rid of the plant and you get over 100 xp. This has happened about 5 or 6 times and none of my sims have gotten gobbled up or anything like that.

Not saying that it won't happen at some point though. Obviously, from the post from person above me, it can happen.

If you don't want to take care of them that way, you can always buy the herbicide bench. That's in the garden section, first row, in the middle. I'm pretty sure, after that, you just click on one of the other options on the plant.

The herbicide gets rid of the man eating plants.. Also you can do spins to get more ghosts

Does the option to search for ghosts disappear? Because I buy the furniture, but the option to search doesn't come up. And yes I make sure I am getting the furniture that has a red ghost in the corner. I am stuck on level 1 ghost hunter (crackpot) and I have multiple ghosts due to the fact that I used the spinner. But I want to earn them, not buy them.
