How do I build a workplace?

To build a workplace you need to click the blue button to the right of the green button on the right hand side of the screen. You can then pan through the screen and build workplaces and houses for sims. At the start of the game you can build a fire station, gallery or a townhall, I'd suggest buying the town hall as your sims earn more money at the town hall! Please bare in mind in order to build workplaces you nee the correct amount of sims and simoleans to build it.

Well first you must get to the level the sims need to be on unless you won't see the option to do it. So first go to the town map then there will be vacant spots with a picture above it showing the certain work place that will be built there for example the fire station you'll see a picture with a firefighter on top. Oh and a tip for you I would start with town hall your sims will progress there quicker

I don't understand how to build a work place. How?

I suggest the science center because that gives you the highest wages

Well .. I came here to find that out to lol however I'm going with the science lab because it's my third one and I've done the town hall and then I've got a few or I think 1 left

I'm trying to build a third workplace but I can't do it. Once place is stuck under construction and nothing happends when I press it. I'm totlaly lost. I have 8 sims so I should be able to build?

Which level is required to build workplace? And which workplace is the best to build frist?

To get to the level where you have the option to build a workplace, park, hobby store, or anything beyond just a sim house you must:

Use a cupcake.

When you begin the game you are given objectives in the rectangle box above the icons for eating, toilet, etc.
Do not stop once you think you've mastered the game and no longer need a tutorial.
The game opens up and you are given way more options in the city screen once you complete the objectives.

Im level 17 and have 9 sims, and I can't build any workplace at mu city, the bottom does not appear, I got 100k too, what can I do with it??

You need at least 7 sims to build a workplace but I've got 11 sims.
