It's time for the final showdown with Lazarevic, and he's not going to go down nice and easy.  Oh no.

There are no treasure pickups for this level.

Simply jump down the platforms until you reach the final boss stage.  A long cutscene will play and you're up against Lazarevic.

FINAL BOSS: LAZAREVIC

o You're located inside a circular area with several minor threats you need to be aware of.  First of all there's the center you'll want to avoid, secondly there is a small ravine nearby the center which you don't want to fall down if you love your life (or Nate's life, rather).

o Don't even bother shooting at Lazarevic directly - he'll take too little damage from this to be noteworthy.  Don't bother with grenades either unless you feel lucky; Lazarevic moves too fast and won't stay around long enough for the explosions to hit him.

o Instead, shoot the large resin bulbs from the Tree of Life when Lazarevic passes by.  This will significantly hurt him, and it's the key to win this fight.

o Always stay on the run from Lazarevic.  His only really long-range attack is to throw several grenades at once at you, and he'll only start doing this after you've made him kneel once at least.  While his shotgun can still cause damage when you're meters away, it's much less dangerous when you're on the far side of the area.

o The first phase of the battle is straightforward.  Take some time and familiarize yourself with the area, then start running in circles, at all times staying away from Lazarevic.

o When you think you've moved far enough away from Lazarevic, turn around – if possible, take cover behind something - and look where Lazarevic is running. Quickly shoot a resin bulb as he passes by and he'll take a direct hit.

o There will be three short cutscenes in which Lazarevic will visibly get more hurt by those resin blasts in his face - we gotta get that scar back on there!

o If Lazarevic manages to catch up with you he'll grab you and starts bashing the crap out of you.  When this happens, quickly tap Square when the prompt comes up and Lazarevic will hurl you away.  This will still cause great damage, but if you're lucky it won't completely kill you.

o When you've successfully made Lazarevic kneel three times, keep doing what you were doing and he'll fall shortly afterwards.

After the concluding cutscene, cross the bridge as it crumbles down.  The camera angle will change about 3/4th way through and you'll have to move towards the screen.  Upon reaching Elena and Chloe, only last interactive cutscene plays in which you'll need to shoot the guardian off Chloe.  Upon doing successfully you have beaten Uncharted 2, so sit back and enjoy the ending!

Note: You can now try the game on a harder difficulty.  If you beat the game on hard difficulty you'll unlock the hardest difficulty, Crushing.
