Check out the house at the northwest part of town. There is a girl there who wants to trade her Haunter for a Medicham. There's a HYPER POTION buried in the snow, at the area surrounded by trees to the right of the gym. Use your Dowsing Machine to find it. Go inside the gym afterwards.

The puzzle for this gym is difficult to explain. Basically, you have to use the momentum you gained from sliding on the ice, to smash the snow balls blocking your path to the gym leader.

She'll give you the ICICLE BADGE and TM72 AVALANCHE afterwards. Rest your Pokemon at the Pokemon Center and proceed to Lake Acuity.
Lake Acuity
After the dialogue with Damion, surf northeast across the lake and grab the TM14 BLIZZARD.

help how do u get to surf on the lake acuty do u haev to wait for the water to rise or something is it possible to get uxie if u have not beat the elite 4?

i cant use surf on the lakes for some reason
