It did take about a year before I got to ride him, there's not alot more you can do for him.

It took me up to summer 3 for the Dolphin to get one heart.It would take you to the island to catch more fish though.

That's weird. I got the dolphin to like me right away. Are you giving it fish and saying hello to it, too?

If you give it three fish a day only one counts so don`t give it all your fish(or any villager more than one gift)because it won`t matter and you can wave at it by pressing A at the dock when it`s there.

The best fish to give him is salmon. It took less than one season than i got to ride him

YOu have to say "Hello" to him to everyday for about 1 or 2 seasons it's hard to do because sometimes you forget but if you kept doing it for that long he'll take you to the island and thats were you catch Rays favorite fish so you can marry him!!
