Hi, I am married to Maria and here is what I did to do so...
As it is quite hard to grow ALL of the things that she loves/likes LOADS, I just gave her things that are easier to get; things from around the villiage and stuff from the farm... I went to her library EVERY day, (but on Mondays I went to the mayors house at some point, she should be there looking at the book shelf or something) and gave her things like boiled eggs (she gets green ticks over her head when you give her these, that means she likes it) and honey and moonstones and pinkcat flowers, moondrop flowers, and even blue mist flowers! (These sell for 500g in fall, so don't worry too much about giving her these, she will be happy with the other things!) She also sort of likes herbs, so if you are stuck in what to give her just quickly get a herb of some sort and that SHOULD be fine! Once you visit her with gifts every day her hearts will start to go up and on festivals and things she will ask you to go with her: and who knows, they might even KISS! On festivals such as: Moon Festival, Starry Night Festival and Fireworks Festival (there might be more) they will go together or Maria will walk over and join you and sometimes kiss! Once the hearts got up to 8+ I did the marriage process (Lv 3 house, Large bed/double and of course the 8+ hearts) Then the mayor knocked on my door about the marriage thing (surprise surprise..!) If your a mineing type of person you can also give her moon stones! My step brother is married to Maria and all he has ever given her was moon stones. (she has ten hearts on him) I'm married to gewn though! <3

To get 50,000 pounds buy a horse and get 2 stars from it to get stars you need to train your horse when you have 2 stars from your horse and enter the horse race and if you win it will say your horse is worth 50,000 pounds so unfortuantaly you will have to sell your horse if you want the money.
