Street Races

Located at Race Central is the icon for the first Street Race Hub (there are a total of three Street Race hubs in the game) so head there to check that out...

The Street Race Hubs offer you random Point-to-Point Street Races (they are not so much random as they are a set that you can randomly select to race).

The races are all checkpoint based, and you cannot miss any of the checkpoints. They are also run on the streets with civilian traffic present, just so you know. That pretty much makes them the illegal street races that they were talking about on the radio.

Each race is free to enter, but may require a specific class or type of car, and may have specific goals attached to it.

Each of the Hubs has 10 races available that are randomly assigned prizes; once you complete the first Hub and all of its races you will also obtain the following:

For completing the first 10 races you will unlock the Achievement “WARNING!!! DANGER TO MANIFOLD” (15G) Win 10 Street Races.

The 10th race includes a random car awarded to you -- though that may not actually happen with your 10th race since it seems that that prize is part of a specific race, so you could draw/choose it at any time.

The Rivals Mode for the Street Races does not include the above random car prize, and its rewards are slightly less, just so you know.

Completing all of the races at all three Hubs will unlock the Achievement “Win Diesel” (30G) Win all Street Races.

If you have been following this guide you will also unlock the Achievement “All Your Race Are Belong to Us” (30G) You've won every single race in the game! upon completion of the 30th Street Race.
