This is a Beaumont Circuit Reverse Race of 5-Laps on asphalt worth 210 Points towards the next Wristband, and $15K to the winner (not counting bonuses).
Restrictions for this race are Class-S cars or below.
This Circuit is evil. There is no way to soft-soap it or otherwise present it as benign or harmless. It is pure evil, end of discussion.
There are three right nasty turns on it, and if you fail to build up a comfortable gap between you and the pack, if -- no WHEN -- you make a mistake at one of those very nasty turns you can very easily lose your lead and expect to do so...
This being the case and strategically speaking your best tactic is to start the race by clawing your way to the head of the pack as fast as humanly possible, all the while burning the layout into your mind -- or better yet watch the video above and then don't make the same mistakes I did?
Either way you decide to do it, once you have managed to get to the front of the pack it is at that point that you want to make a serious effort to run a clean and mistake-free race with an eye towards building a clean and respectable lead so that there is a comfortable gap between you and the closest competitor, and then work hard at maintaining that gap.
Don't make mistakes. Seriously. And Win! Honestly though you will find that you get the best results in this race by going with a car that you are very comfortable with from the start, and again learning the track and its weak points will help a lot.
