This Beaumont Canyon Run is a Mixed-Surface Point-to-point worth 210 Points towards the next Wristband, and $14K to the winner (not counting bonuses).

Restrictions for this race are Class-A cars or below manufactured in Germany.

The final race in the Purple Series and your doorway to the Gold!

This being the final race in the Purple Wristband Series, which, no joking around here, is pretty much what we have been working towards the entire season... it seems reasonable to start to celebrate just a little.

All those bleedin' chocolate bars we had to buy and eat just to get that Golden Ticket? And then there was that fat little German kid, the singing midgets, rivers of motor oil and... Wait... Umm... Sorry about that; the non-stop three-days at-a-go racing is causing me to hallucinate!

Actually now that I think on it, if we could have any celebrity endorsed and sponsored racing I think I would want to race in the 2013 Weasley's Wizard Wheezes Road Rally. If I had the choice I would want to be racing for Team Granger, as she would be by far the cleverest Witch Mechanic in the sport, right?

The point to this is that with a lot of hard work, dedication, and serious racing effort, we have arrived at the literal cusp of the final road to the final race, and don't it feel good?

If everything goes as planned we will not only have beaten them -- all of them -- but we will have taken down the mighty Flynt...

Being Serious for a moment -- this race is restricted to Class-A German rides -- I chose the modern BMW but you should go with the German car you are the most confident behind the wheel of...

As this was the final race with Hailey and, since she was always so nice and polite and made us feel welcome and all, I figured if there was EVER a time to demonstrate my feelings towards her, now was the time!

As this race is a very fast point-to-point sprint with several spots where staying too close to either side can get you in serious trouble I strongly recommend that you take a middle-of-the-road approach -- seriously.

After You Win

With your place on the podium assured, before you head for the Race Center at the Hub you should make it a point -- if you have not already done so -- to head over to the Hailey Pink Slip Race and take her car from her.

After that you should check for any available Barn Finds, and then any available Showcase Events before finally pointing your nose inwards towards the Horizon Hub, where you will find Alice waiting for you packed into an over-excited bundle of nervous tension!

After welcoming and congratulating you, with Alice's help you unlock the Achievement "Golden Boy" (50G) You received the Golden Wristband....

At this point you should either be very close to unlocking -- or have just unlocked -- the Achievement "Killer Skills" (25G) You're the 10th most popular driver at Horizon.

You are now ready to begin the final push towards filling the points left in the Golden Wristband quota in order to make your way to that last podium. Well done you!
