Gold: Advan Asphalt Attack

This is a Red Rock Descent Asphalt Point-to-Point worth 250 Points towards completing the Gold Wristband, and has a prize of $17K to the winner (not counting bonuses).

Restrictions for this race are R3-Class cars or below.

Maintaining the speed theme here, another point-to-point but this time in the desert.

This is one of the R3 races where speed alone doesn't work. The route is very curvy and there are a few tunnels you have to get through, not to mention beating your way through the pack, but once you are out in front the objectives change considerably.

When you take the lead you are racing against the road and yourself, so the objective at that point is to make as few mistakes as possible and remember to use your brakes instead of trying to drift the curves - since drifting the curves is more likely to lead to a lot of little mistakes, and a lot of little mistakes can quickly add up into one big loss.
