Wizards Unite is a location-based augmented reality (AR) mobile game from the creators of Pokemon Go. You play the role of an enforcer in the Statute of Secrecy Task Force who has to explore the world looking for Foundables, elements taken from the Wizarding World, and then return them to their rightful place. This involves exploring real-world neighborhoods and cities across the globe, learn and cast spells, discover mysterious artifacts, and encounter legendary beasts and iconic characters. Cheats, Tips and Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include how to save battery life and collecting ingredients. As well as these hints and tips we also have a mini-guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:

Save Battery Life

AR games drain your battery fast, especially if you leave AU on. In Wizards Unite AR does not affect gameplay unless you are using a Portkey, which requires AR for the minigame. This means unless you are using Portkeys you can avoid using up your battery unnecessarily by switching off AR.

Collecting Ingredients

Resist the temptation of collecting every ingredient you come across on the floor of the overworld map. You have a limited amount of inventory space which requires real money to expand so try to avoid hoading too many of the ingredients that have a higher pickup value.

Use Baruffio's Brain Elixir

In order to get the most experience out of every Trace Encounter, Wizarding Challenge, and Portkey it is important during gameplay that you use Baruffio's Brain Elixir every 30 minutes. You will be able to brew this potion at level 4 and it takes 12 hours to brew. This waiting time can be skipped entirely by using gold at the in-game micro-transaction store called the Diagon Alley or reduced by 15% by tapping the cauldron ladle and entering the following note sequence:

- Clockwise Turn

- Pinch

- Horizontal Line

- Zoom

- Shake Your Device

Gold Key

When you get your first Portmanteau you will be given the Gold key and unlike the Silver keys it will never get used up. As the game only allows you to hold 8 Portkeys or Portmanteaus at any one time you can increase your unlock rate by only using the Gold key on 2km Pormanteaus and saving the Silver keys for the 5km and 10km Portmanteaus.

Interact with Cauldrons

Visit Inns

It is important that you visit inns regularly so you get the spell energy which is essential for casting spells. Remember that you spend one unit of energy for every spell you cast so it runs out quickly. Save Mobile Data
