Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Beginner Tips and Tricks

Listed below are several Beginner Tips and Tricks which will help you in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Complete Side Quests

As you progress in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands you will be offered side quests between the main story missions, these will be marked by golden (!) exclamation points. It is important that you complete some of these side quests as they will allow you to discover more of the Wonderlands map and provide experience upon completion. Keep in mind Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has recommended level caps for the main story missions and if you do not take on any of the side quests you will eventually reach the point where you will be unable to advance further in the game as the enemies you encounter will be too powerful for you to defeat in key story locations. To maintain the game's steady difficulty rise you should aim to be no more than two levels below the recommended level at all times, this will require completing at least 3-4 side quests between each main story mission.

Progressing in Story Mode

There will be instances during the main story missions where you will be locked out from progressing further in the game. When you come across a world you are unable to access or a path is blocked the first thing you need to do is check your quest log from the 'Character' menu. Read the descriptions of the story missions to see if there is a task you have not yet done that needs to be completed that will then enable you to progress. If this is not the case you either need to keep exploring the Overworld to find a golden (!) which hopefully will be a side quest that solves your problem or find where you are going by travelling through smaller dungeons.

Grinding Experience

If you need to boost your experience in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands the best way is to farm an area that has skeletons and zombies. Although they are weak enemies they still give decent experience when you defeat them. As these types of enemy are vulnerable to physical attacks you will be able to easily rack up kills by equipping a melee weapon. Skeletons in particular are plentiful in Overworld dungdons and deep sea locations.

Always Equip High-Powered Weapons

As you defeat the enemies in Tiny Tina's Wonderland they will drop countless different types of weapons you can use. While it is tempting to stick with a weapon you like it is far more beneficial to change your loadout whenever you find something that is better than what you already have. Keep in mind as you level up the enemies you encounter will be tougher to defeat, so you need to make sure the weapon you use is the one that does the most damage possible, also take into consideration when deciding what weapons to equip that most enemies will be vulnerable to certain weapon elemental types.

Redeem SHiFT Codes

In Tiny Tina's Wonderland you can input SHiFT codes to receive free Skeleton Keys, which unlock a range of randomized, and powerful loot in Brighthoof, in front of Queen Butt Stallion's castle. To redeem a SHiFT code in-game, simply head to the 'Pause' menu, then the 'Social' tab menu and finally the 'SHiFT' menu where you will be able to input your code in the area provided. Alternately, you can access the Gearbox SHiFT website which will allow you to log in using various platforms and social log-ins.
