Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should always smash crates and barrels whenever you are not in the Overworld and why you should make a habit of boosting your gold reserves. How to Create Space during Melee Combat

During melee combat when you find yourself surrounded by enemies you can create some space between you and them by performing the following move. With any weapon equipped in your melee slot, jump and then hit the crouch input in midair to slam the weapon down and create a shockwave, staggering nearby enemies if not sending them flying. You can do this with any character.

Prioritize the Lens of the Deceiver Quest

Make sure you prioritize the Lens of the Deceiver Quest from Margravine as soon as you pass through the Wargtooth Shallows. The reason you should do this is it allows you to reveal the invisible Coiled bridges dotted around the Overworld, enabling almost full traversal capability in the Overworld up to this point of the game. Smash Crates and Barrels

As you progress through the different areas of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands that are not the Overworld you will notice crates and barrels strewn around. It is essential that you smash these as they often hold health potions and ammo that will keep you topped up without having to find a chest or a vendor.

Always Redeem Duplicate Cosmetic Items

Make sure whenever you pick up a cosmetic item you already own you immediately redeem it in your inventory menu to ensure you keep your backpack slots open for weaponry-focused loot which is a lot more useful.

Boost your Gold Reserves

Get in the habit of whenever you enter the Overworld you take the time to re-loot chests, smash crates and fight a couple of enemy encampments. The reason why you should make a point of doing this is because it enables you to boost your gold reserves and help provide a consistent stream of access to gear that will always match your level.

Get Permanent Buffs from Challenges

Complete the various challenges whenever you find them as they give permanent buffs to your Fatemaker, these include increased Loot Luck and Hero Points. There are plenty of challenges hidden throughout the game, these range from finding hidden collectibles to fighting a miniboss. One challenge to look out for is the Lucky Dice, a bright orange 20-sided die that drops loot when activated. These Dice are hidden throughout the world of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and are worth your time trying to find because not only will they drop a small gold and loot pool but many of them will increase your Loot Luck. This means all subsequent loot drops from any source have a higher percentage chance of being better quality stat-wise, or higher rarity. You can keep track of your challenges in the Progress section of the Map tab in your menu, and you can check your buffs on the right side of the Journal tab in your menu.

Redeem SHiFT Codes for Free Goodies

An easy way in which you can get rewards in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is via SHiFT Codes. When you redeem SHiFT Codes you will be given Skeleton Keys which unlock a range of randomized, and powerful loot in Brighthoof, in front of Queen Butt Stallion's castle. This loot includes high rarity weapons, armor, wards, and spells. If you go to the Gearbox SHiFT website you will be able to log in using various platforms and social log-ins and redeem the following SHiFT Codes to get Skeleton Keys. SHiFT Codes can also be redeemed in the 'Social' tab of the in-game menu.
