What are Hobbies?

Hobbies are activities that your Sims can do during their leisure time, there are five different types and each one offers their own set of perks and benefits as well as ways that the hobby can be progressed. Depending on their level you can select one of the hobbies for your Sim and they will be rewarded with Simoleons whenenver they complete a Hobby Event. Listed below are the hobbies and the level required to unlock them and the item required to do it.

Cooking

Requirement: Player Level 8 and a Basic Stove.

Your Sims will learn how to cook food that they can consume and regenerate hunger points.

Guitar

Requirement: Player Level 9 and Beginner's Guitar.

Your Sims will learn how to play the guitar and use Amp and other musical paraphernalias.

Writing

Requirement: Player Level 15 and Writer's Block Desk.

Your Sims will compose some literature such as poems, stories and novels.

Yoga

Requirement: Player Level 16 and Namaste Yoga Mat

Your Sims will perform some yoga poses and meditation in this hobby.

Piano

Requirement: Maestro's Grand Piano Family Heirloom and Beginner Piano.

Your Sims will learn how to play the piano and read composer notes.
