You will be able to find employment for your Sims by choosing a career for them. At the beginning of the game the only career available is working as a Barista in a cafe in Parkside but after a period of time you will gain the option to unlock other careers. You can level up in the careers with energy and each of the seven careers will have a small story that goes along with it. Progressing through a career will also unlock some objects in the game catalogue.
Below is a list of the seven careers and their requirement to begin playing them:
Barista
Requirement: Visit Parkside
Culinary Career
Requirement: Visit Market Square.
Fashion Career
Requirement: Visit Market Square.
Medical Career
Requirement: Visit Market Square.
Law Career
Requirement: Must be Player Level 15.
Business Career
Requirement: Must be Player Level 15.
DJ Career
Requirement: Must be Player Level 23.
