How to complete the Fixer Upper task

On the Michigan, U.S.A map there is a Fixer Upper task which involves finding an old broken truck nearby which if you can repair and refuel you are given ownership of the truck. Check out our How to complete the Fixer Upper task to find out how this can be done.

The vehicle that needs to be repaired in the Fixer Upper task is a White-Western Star 4964. Repairing and fuelling it is not enough to complete the mission, you must also tow it to a zone. You can find the truck just off the Black River, near the farm that is surrounded by a bunch of hills. It is advised if you decide to undertake this mission that you use a heavy vehicle with one slot of cargo for ballast.

To get the vehicle back to the garage you will need to tow it and this can be tricky whichever route you decide to take. One route you may want to consider is to drag the it alongside the river, and then climb up the hill from the northern side. Once you reach the top cut through the woods and down a hill. This will take you right next to the start of the 'Find the Antenna Tower' task. From here keep driving straight, and cut through the swamp. If you are using a suitable vehicle you will be able to climb up the hill otherwise just cut alongside the river. This route may seem long but you will have a better chance of success with it.

White-Western Star 4964

Although the White-Western Star 4964 is an old school rig it is a is a very capable truck which is fIuel efficient for its tank size. It is able to hold its own when compared to more off-road oriented counterparts and is able delivery mega-sized cargo.
