The currency used in Shin Megami Tensei V is called Macca, and it can be used for various things in the game, these include buying items, healing your party via Leyline Founts, and purchasing demons from the compendium for fusion. This How to Make Money Fast guide will tell you how to get your hands on a lot of Macca fast.
The best and quickest way particularly early in the game in which to earn Macca in Shin Megami Tensei V is by completing the side quests, which are sometimes referred to as subquests. Taking on the subquests will involve having to go up against and defeat strong demons. Once you clear a subquest the NPC associated with it will reward you with different items which can, in turn be sold for a decent amount of Macca.
There are four types of Mitama in Shin Megami Tensei V. These rare enemies are souls that cannot be recruited or fused and drop precious items if you defeat them. The yellow Saki Mitmama drops items that can be sold for money. When you find a Saki Mitama make sure you approach it with caution as they will run away if they sense you approaching. You can improve the spawn rate of Saki Mitama by downloading the Mitama Dance of Wealth DLC which costs $2.99 and going to the game menu and toggling the odds of their appearance.
