How to Farm Glory in Shin Megami Tensei V
Glory is a currency you can earn in Shin Megami Tensei V which is used to purchase Miracles. Glory is considerably more difficult to obtain than Macca, it cannot be earned by achieving victory in battles. This How to Farm Glory guide will tell you the easiest ways in which you can get this currency.
There are three different methods in which you can get Glory in Shin Megami Tensei V, these are looting Amalgrams, defeating Nigi Mitamas, and finding Mimans. Glory can be used to build up your party by granting them abilities separate from regular skills by purchasing Miracles, there are four different categories of Miracles and they can be very costly. Individual Miracles can be obtained by paying a certain amount of Glory to Sophia while in the World of Shadows. They are generally unlocked for purchase by destroying Abscesses.
Unlike regular treasure boxes, Amalgram are silver-colored and need to be examined instead of smashed open. There are 6 Amalgrams in the world of Shin Megami Tensei V. There is one Amalgram in Mita, Akanebashi, Tokyo Tower, and Kamiyacho. You will find two Amalgrams in Hamamatsucho. Looting these Amalgrams will grant you Glory.
Nigi Mitamas are similar to Saki Mitamas. Whereas defeating Saki Mitamas will enable you to grind EXP, for Glory, you will need to target the blue Nigi Mitamas instead. Defeating them rewards you with a Small Glory Crystal, which gives 10 Glory. When fighting Nigi Mitamas use the Spyglass to find its weakness. It is recommended at the beginning of Shin Megami Tensei V you bring demons with a variety of skills when fighting Nigi Mitamas, later in the game you will be able to put mulitple skills into one demon which will make defeating them easier. You may want to consider purchasing the Mitama Dance of Miracles DLC for $2.99 which will increase the encounter rate of Nigi Mitamas.
After you have spoken to Gustave, the Shopkeeper of the Netherworld at Cadavar's Hollow, you will be able to find Mimans. These tiny red creatures that are strewn all over Da'at are Gustave's minions, and he will reward you 5 Glory per Miman you take back to him, in total there are 200 Miman in Shin Megami Tensei V. As there are so many available, you will have enough Glory for every Miracle by the end of the game.
