There are four levels in the game, each with four floors/areas. In most game modes, you’ll have to navigate through a level’s first three areas before reaching the fourth boss area. These areas are randomly generated so the locations of the starting point, shops, treasure rooms, and exits will be different every time you play. As such, it’s impossible to create a specific walkthrough of the rooms. The minimap is small, and located in the lower right corner of the screen.

When entering rooms per level, you’ll encounter randomly generated enemies. You won’t be allowed to leave the room until all enemies are defeated or if you get incapacitated. Each level will also have destructible objects. Destroying these will yield additional desserts.

You can also suffer from fall damage. If you fall from gaps or open edges, you’ll be transported to a nearby safe location with a portion of your HP reduced. Make sure to dash across gaps for safe passage.

Treasure Rooms and Shops are safe zones randomly found in areas. Treasure Rooms will only have one chest that contain a wide variety of random items. However, they’re most likely to contain weapons. Shops in the other hand, doesn’t appear that often. The pedestals random shops have also vary, unlike the end-area shop pedestals that will at least contain HP and weapon pedestals.
