There are two new enemies you should watch out for. The first one is a variant of the small projectile flying mechs that fires a steady stream of laser instead of projectiles. If you see a red line trying to lock on to you, do your best in getting out of the way or finding cover. The other threat is the shield-wielding mech that greatly reduces your damage if you hit its shield. The best way to deal with this enemy is to move around and flank it. If you attack it from the front, it will push its shield and damage you.
One of the mid-boss you’ll encounter is a flying mech that can shoot a wide dispersion of slow-moving projectiles. It has considerable delay between shots so you can be aggressive and use that opening to pummel it. This mid-boss doesn’t have any melee attacks so as long as you stay out of its guns, you’ll be fine.
The other mid-boss is a talk mech that primarily attacks with its long hands. It can also fire a large, slow-moving, homing energy projectile that heads towards the target. When it releases this projectile, keep running around until it dissipates or hits something.
Boss: MK.III
This boss is probably the easiest boss in the game. You have to destroy the armored parts of its legs to stun it. The armored legs can be easily destroyed. Don’t hesitate to go under the boss to do this. Just be careful of the projectiles it will deploy that will activate slowing fields around it.
When it jumps, you’ll get see a warning circle where it will land. Keep landing and dash away before the boss lands. Upon landing, you can repeat the process. Be careful not to accidentally dash over the edge of the combat zone.
After a while, the boss may jump out of the way and summon several normal enemies to gang up on you. Fortunately, the boss will not do anything from above so you can concentrate on dealing with the enemies first. Once all enemies are defeated, watch out for its landing, then repeat the process.
