Pridefall 18: Pridefall Harbor

Campaign Mode strategy: Start this level with the old Barracks – Cannon Combo. Fully upgrade the cannon and build a barracks to serve as a choke point for the cannon as seen on the image below. Add Lancelot to your tanking troops and the two ranged Heroes on the proximity to shell out some additional damage. Before the wave ends, build a cannon on the triangular park near your base and try to upgrade it as you get the coins.

As the 2nd wave starts, build 2 barracks –1 each beside your base. Before the 2nd wave ends, add another barracks near your base on the left as the last leg of the 2nd wave will pump up their volume over there. As the 3rd wave starts, three orcs will come from the entry points above. Be sure to lay down another cannon or two along its path – upgraded as the coin comes. More importantly though, they will all converge on the bottom so be prepared to strengthen you defense there. You might be interested on strategically positioning fee and Bolton to keep this area under control.

As the 4th wave comes, a villager will come out from the right most entry point. Since it is the start of the wave, you’ll have a spare wolf to protect it just in case some enemy advances to him. Pump up the attacks from the left by adding another cannon on the triangular park. Also, add two choke points on the route towards your bottom base. Upgrade every cannon before the end of the 4th wave. Since there won’t be any free space on the left part of the map, upgrade your two barracks there just in case. Utilize Bolton’s lightning when enemy mobs converge at the intersections. Remember to use Lancelot’s defense buff whenever the mob overwhelms all your units. Before the end of the 5th wave, make sure to upgrade all your cannons with rockets, and buff the resilience of your ground units at least (blue colored barracks). There final wave isn’t very forgiving as six orcs will simultaneously attack. Remember to summon Fee’s wolf to control the crowd.

By the time an orc or two dies, you’ll have the resources to upgrade your barracks once again. Wait for the right opportunity as upgrading your barracks will instantly re-spawn fallen ground units. This way, the new units can continue to control the situation. Cast Lancelot’s defense buff whenever it is possible as every help counts if you are to survive this wave. Make last minute upgrades to the last line of defense as the resources come. Focus your efforts defending the left base with Fee (and her wolf) and Lancelot (if he survives) to control the situation. When the situation on one side pacifies, re-position your Heroes on the remaining orcs. Hopefully, you’ll finish up unscathed and with 3-stars.

Legendary strategy: Nothing beats a hail of cannon shells. With a huge resource to start with, feel free to dominate the map with tons of cannons (see the image below). Upgrade them as you see fit and as the resource becomes available. Likewise, position your Heroes where they are needed most. The enemy mobs usually overwhelm the bottom base more than that on the left.
