Evil Dead: The Game is an asmmetrical survival horror video game based on the Evil Dead franchise. Take a look at our cheats and tips to help stay alive in this survival game that is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC.
In Evil Dead: The Game you step into the shoes of Ash Williams or his friends from the iconic Evil Dead franchise and work together in a game loaded with over-the-top co-op and PVP multiplayer action.
Play as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, managing your fear, and finding key items to seal the breach between worlds in a game inspired by all three original Evil Dead films as well as the Starz original Ash vs Evil Dead television series.
Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why your party should always try to stay together and why you need to save ammo for your guns.
As well as these hints and tips, we also have a beginners guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:
It is recommended that you invest in a pair of headphones for Evil Dead: The Game as enemies can literally appear from anywhere and having a decent headset will help you to detect any that are nearby. If you are playing Co-Op having a headset is a must-have as communicating with the other survivors in your party is crucial.
If for whatever reason you don't want to use a headset and talk to the other co-op survivors in your party then you need to make sure you stay close to them to ensure everyone is safe as the Demon will try to separate the members of your party and pick you off one by one.
Use a car whenever one becomes available to get away from the Demon, most vehicles hold four players, and it guarantees everyone is safe.

Make sure you keep an eye out for the chests that are scattered throughout the world as these sometimes contain Pink F bottles. These are vials that will help your character get stronger by increasing their health, weapon damage, and how safe they are from fear.
Keep in mind when you use a Pink F bottle to level up you make sure you do so in a secluded area as you will be momentarily vulnerable to attack while the process takes place.
Check out our What is Pink F guide to find out everything you need to know about these vials in Evil Dead: The Game.
There is a whole array of weapons that can be found and used in the Evil Dead: The Game. Most of these will be melee weapons which makes guns and the ammo needed for them a rare commodity that is hard to find.
Therefore, in order to save ammo, weapons such as pistols and shotguns should be saved for when the party is getting completely overwhelmed by demons. Make use of melee weapons whenever possible.

In Evil Dead: The Game there are three bars you need to continually monitor as you play a match - health, stamina, and fear. All three are equally important, make sure you don't neglect fear because if it gets too high your character runs the risk of getting possessed by demons.
In order to decrease the fear meter, so your character stays calm you should light fires and be on the lookout for lantern or fire pits.
