The sewer is very straightforward. You’ll be ambushed by demons in the two wide, open section of the tunnels. As the path narrows down to the west near the exit to the next area, look to the immediate left (south) to find a memory fragment. Once done, head to the next area.
In the Sewer- Cemetery Entrance area, you may find Prof Alucard himself in the corner, observing some fiends, right before the stairs. Talking to him doesn’t affect any quest or story events so it’s entirely optional. Continue downstairs and take out the fiends that will appear along the way.
The Door is found halfway in the along the path, near a demon merchant. The demon merchant sells two fetishes, the Wolf’s Fang (wolf) and Warped Mace (Macesaur) on top of some uncommon equipment. Make sure to check its inventory and update your team’s equipment before moving forward. To the SW, you’ll find the exit to the next area.
You’ll be in the Sewer Passageway area. Follow the path until you reach the first large room. There’s a shining flower bud in the immediate left. Hit it to reveal a hidden path leading to the Housing Entrance exit to the NW. However, this doorway will be closed for now so head east for the meantime. You may saw the professor again who you can have another optional conversation with. Eliminate all the enemies then exit to the Central Station exit to the NE.
In the first round room of the area, you’ll face a lone manticore. Unleash your team’s offensive burst skills to take it out quickly. Continue along the path and pick up a memory fragment and loot a HP/SP chest along the way. Take the narrow path to the east then continue to the large room to the north. Defeat all demons inside and loot the chest placed in the northeasternmost corner of the room. Now head to the northwest room and talk to Lloyd who is blocking the doorway for some reason. He’ll leave after talking to him so continue to the room and take out the fiends that will ambush you. After defeating them, the previously blocked path to the Housing Entrance in the previous area will be opened. Make your way back to the previous area.
Head to the Housing Entrance and continue to the large room to trigger a scene. You must defeat the gargoyle fiend to aid Chris. This is not an entirely hard battle as long as you trigger your servans’ offensive burst skills in good timing while you’re doing your own combo or special attacks. After defeating the gargoyle, Arnice will have a conversation with Chris and she’ll give you three clues about the case you’re investigating. You don’t have to find the secret room Chris mentioned since it is conveniently marked. Interact with that section of the wall to reveal the hidden room.
Check the marked objects in the hidden room. After interacting with the statue, a scene will trigger and Chris will appear once again. After learning about the tragic backstory of the objects in the room, you’ll be back in the hotel. The cutscene will continue with Arnice relaying the results of the investigation to Simon. After the scene, the hunt will be complete.
After finding the secret room and learning about the fate of Lady L, both sub-scenarios will be completed upon your return to the hotel. After the scene, light will emit from the dream world so you'll have no choice but to head to the Altar. After the scenes, the chapter will be complete.
