In Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds you will be rewarded items every time you complete a mission, like other role-playing games you will need to manage your inventory when you store your belongings. Eventually there will come a time when you will discover a lack of space in your inventory, and you will want to get more. This How to Increase Inventory Space guide will tell you how this is done.
There are several ways to increase your inventory so you have more space in your backpack, and they are all fairly easy, requiring little effort.
Diamonds
Click on the inventory menu in the right corner of the screen followed by the '+' icon on the bottom you will open up a menu in which you can buy 1 inventory slot for 15 Diamonds. This though is an expensive method that is not sustainable as Diamonds are not easy to earn from the main story missions. You do however have the option to purchase Diamonds at the shop using real money.
Purification Medal
You can trade in the Medal shop using the Purification Medal, doing this will cost you 100 Purification Medals for one Inventory Slot. Whenever you collect a certain item you will be able to acquire a Purification Medal from the Equipment Codex.
Sell Unwanted Items
You can always sell unwanted items to free up space in your inventory, or alternately you can use the extra weapons you don't want to level up your existing ones in the 'Equipment' menu.
Reach Class Grade 1 and 2
In Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds you will be rewarded with more backpack space when you reach Class Grade 1 and 2. You get Class Grade 1 at level 20, and among other rewards, you get additional 25 backpack slots. When you hit level 40, you will reach Class Grade 2 and get 25 extra backpack slots. You can increase the space further by doing this with all five classes for a massive 250 slots. You should be able to reach level 20 in under an hour without costing you anything. When you reach level 40 you will hit a wall and the game will not give you any more inventory slots when you upgrade your level.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds allows you to play with five different characters and each of them levels up to earn inventory slots. It is important that you understand that the inventory slots of all the characters add up for the same account. This means that by reaching level 40 you can gain 50 inventory slots from each character giving you up to 200 more inventory slots. There is a downside to this though and that is you will need to go through the whole story when you level up. As you are already familiar with the story you can make the process quicker by speeding up the dialogue that pops up during the game by pressing the 'Skip' button on the top right of the screen.
